About

Sinusitis is an inflammation or infection of the sinuses. Sinusitis can be acute, lasting less than four weeks, or chronic, lasting much longer. Acute sinusitis often starts as a cold, which then turns into a bacterial infection.  Allergic rhinitis (nasal allergies), structural abnormalities (deviated nasal septum, bony abnormalities, narrow drainage passages, polyps etc.) and pollutants can also cause sinusitis.

Symptoms of sinusitis can include nasal congestion, thick colored mucous, postnasal drainage, cough, headaches, facial pressure, fatigue, weakness, toothache and fever.

Our clinic provides a comprehensive evaluation for sinusitis, including a detailed history, examination and imaging (CT scan) if indicated. We can tailor the most effective treatment plan based on your needs.
